A song about work and how we sometimes work so hard that we forget what life is really about. We need to work to live not live to work. The imagery comes from the book and 70's movie Logan's Run, in which society is taught to believe that they will be renewed when actually their government is using this idea of renewing as population control and actually killing them during this ceremony. We in turn play the mice on the wheel when we are not really going anywhere. The song is a reminder to seek out the truth in life and pursue happiness as a result.

Satisfied
Pedals of light a glimmering ghost
a notion of right is challenged in full
and all around watch it all come down
cover your eyes

We're never satisfied
We're never satisfied
until we've choked out the last drop of life
we're never satisfied until part of us
part of us has died

I'm wondering what's on the other side
the other side of life
should I fear it should I adhere to it
what's there left to hide
