This is a story of a man who is struggling to regain his routine as he suffers from the depression of his daily life. This was one of the first songs written as I tried to switch from the "you-me," songwriting style to the story telling style.

The Same

He awakes, from the floor
But he’s un-phased, he’s been here before
He makes his way, to the bed
And contemplates, what’s he got to wake for

Please don’t stay
stay the same
I’m ready for the change
I’m ready to reclaim
The same

Such an average day, in a less than average time
Paves the way, for just passing time
He stays out late, drinks them all to the floor
He stays awake, what’s he got to dream for
